The Nakoaktok tribe are from the Central Coast on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. They are also known as the ‘Nak’waxda’xw. Curtis created thirteen (13) photogravure plates during his visits with the Nakoaktok tribe and eight (8) remain available to collectors today.
