The Eskimo of Hooper Bay resided northeast of Nelson Island, south of Cape Romanzof and a few miles inland on a tidewater river. Curtis created a total of eight (8) copper photogravure plates during his visits with the Hooper Bay Eskimo and seven (7) remain available to collectors today.
