Klamath

The Klamath people lived in the area around Upper Klamath Lake and the Klamath, Williamson, and Sprague rivers in southern Oregon and northern California. The Klamath people were called Eukshikni, meaning “lake people.” Curtis created a total of thirty-one (31) photogravure plates from his visits with the Klamath and twenty-two (22) remain available to collectors today.
