The Kobuk people lived in villages scattered along the Kobuk river. Their territory extended along the river to points on each side midway between the Noatak and Kobuk, and Selawik and Kobuk rivers, respectively. Curtis created only three (3) copper photogravure plates during his visits with the Kobuk and all three (3) remain available to collectors today.
