Yuma

The Yuma (Quechan) tribe lived along the banks of the Colorado River in southeastern California and southwestern Arizona. Their houses were made of willow poles and long sticks to create A frames that were covered in brush and yucca fiber. Curtis created a total of eight (8) copper photogravure plates from his visits with the Yuma and three (3) remain available to collectors today.
