Mohave

The Mohave (Mojave) people lived along the banks of the Colorado River in southeastern California and southwestern Arizona. The name Mohave translates to mean the people who love by the river or on the water. Curtis created a total of twenty (20) copper photogravure plates from his visits with the Mohave and fourteen (14) remain available to collectors today.
