The Apsaroke tribe, also known as the "Crow", lived in Montana.  Their name translates as "children of the large-beaked bird".  Curtis created ninety-one (91) copper photogravure plates during his visits with the Apsaroke and fifty-eight (58) remain available to collectors today.
