The Sarsi are a North American tribe who resided near the upper Saskatchewan and Athabaska rivers in the present provinces or Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada. The Sarsi adopted several aspects of Blackfoot culture, including military societies and the Sun Dance. Curtis created a total of eleven (11) copper photogravure plates during his visits with the Sarsi and eight (8) remain available to collectors today.
